1. Service Overview
HomeAngels is a private limited firm that provides household staffing solutions including, but not limited to, 24-hour live-in nannies, maids, cooks, and elderly care attendants. We facilitate the connection between households (clients) and verified domestic workers (staff), and offer ongoing support, training, and replacement as needed.
2. Definitions
- Client: The person availing services from HomeAngels.
- Staff: Any individual placed by HomeAngels to work for the Client.
- Service Fee: One-time payment to HomeAngels for coordination and onboarding.
- Tenure: Duration for which a staff is placed at the client’s premises.
3. Staff Responsibilities
- 24-hour live-in presence at the Client’s home.
- Job scope discussed prior to onboarding (e.g. child care, basic cooking, cleaning, etc.)
- two monthly off (unless otherwise agreed in writing).
- Staff is responsible for maintaining hygiene, respectful conduct, and professional work ethics.
4. Client Responsibilities
- Provide a safe, hygienic, and respectful environment for the staff.
- Ensure staff receive proper accommodation, food, and access to clean washroom facilities.
- Pay monthly salary on time, either directly or through HomeAngels (as applicable).
- Prohibit discrimination based on age, gender, marital status, caste, religion, education, or regional background.
- Staff are to be treated with dignity and respect; any verbal, physical, or emotional abuse may lead to service termination.
- Do not engage staff in tasks outside the agreed job scope or in unethical/illegal activities.
5. Payment Terms
- A non-refundable one-time booking fee must be paid before staff deployment.
- Any advance salary paid directly to staff is at the Client’s own discretion and risk.
- Staff salary depends on skill, location, and job type.
- All outstanding dues or pending staff payments must be cleared before any new or replacement staff can be arranged.
6. Replacements & Support
- HomeAngels provides up to 3 free replacements within 6 months if staff resigns, misbehaves, or is found unsuitable.
- Within the 11-month contract period, additional replacements may be provided at HomeAngels’ discretion upon valid request.
- Replacement timelines: 1–7 working days (may vary depending on demand).
- Replacements will only be processed after the client clears all outstanding payments and provides valid reasoning or evidence for dissatisfaction.
7. Cancellation and Refund Policy
- Cancellation after deployment: No refund of service fee.
- If staff leaves within 7 days and client opts not to take replacement, 50% of service fee may be credited within 5–7 working days.
- Staff absenteeism or misconduct must be reported within 24 hours for claim validity.
- Once replacement is offered and refused by the client, HomeAngels’ service obligation for that tenure is considered fulfilled.
8. Background Verification & Legal Standing
- All staff go through ID verification and necessary checks.
- HomeAngels is not liable for any criminal or civil behavior of staff post deployment.
9. Liability Limitation
- HomeAngels is not the employer of the staff.
- We are a placement and facilitation platform only.
- We are not liable for:
- Any financial loss or theft
- Health issues or accidents
- Emotional, physical, or legal disputes
- Clients are advised to take necessary precautions and sign their own employment agreement with staff if needed.
10. Confidentiality & Data Use
- All client and staff data is stored securely and never sold.
- By using our services, you agree to allow HomeAngels to contact you via SMS, email, WhatsApp, or call.
11. Dispute Resolution
- Any disputes should first be raised to HomeAngels support team at support@homeangels.in
- We aim to resolve complaints within 7 working days.
- Any unresolved disputes will be subject to arbitration under Indian law in the jurisdiction of haryana.
12. Termination of Service
- Either party may terminate the agreement with 7-day written notice.
- HomeAngels reserves the right to terminate service if:
- Staff safety or dignity is compromised.
- Payments are delayed or dues remain unpaid.
- The client repeatedly requests staff beyond agreed scope or engages in discrimination.
13. Force Majeure Clause
HomeAngels shall not be liable for failure to perform its obligations if such failure is caused by events beyond its control, including but not limited to, natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, or governmental actions.
14. Ethical Conduct Clause
HomeAngels operates on principles of dignity, equality, and safety for all domestic workers.
Clients are expected to uphold these principles and refrain from any act of:
Discrimination based on age, caste, religion, education, gender, or marital status. Harassment, abuse, or violation of personal boundaries.
Violation of this clause may lead to immediate service termination without refund and blacklisting of the client from future services.
15. Final Disclaimer
HomeAngels strives to provide verified, well-trained staff but cannot guarantee individual behavior, performance, or long-term continuity of staff.
Our role is to facilitate, support, and mediate — not to employ or supervise daily work directly.
All final employment terms between client and staff are the client’s responsibility.
16. Policy Updates & Amendments
HomeAngels reserves the right to modify, update, or amend these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.
The updated version will be published on our official website www.homeangels.in and will take effect immediately upon posting.
By continuing to use our services after any changes, the Client automatically agrees to the revised Terms.
